The San Jose Sharks earned their first win on Thursday, a 3-2 victory over the winless Buffalo Sabres. It was a team effort in the win, with the Meier-Tierney-Donskoi line producing two goals (including one that will make all the highlight reels in Donskoi's no-look pass to Tierney).
It's Hispanic Heritage Night presented by your Northern California Honda Dealers, and Los Tiburones are going all-out to honor their Hispanic fans. There is a full arena Los Tiburones jersey giveaway that looks pretty sweet.
In addition, tonight's game will also be broadcast in Spanish; on NBCSCA via the SAP option and on sjsharks.com with a live audio broadcast.
Tonight the Sharks face the New York Islanders, who are 1-2-1 as they continue their road trip through California, having lost 3-2 to the Anaheim Ducks earlier this week.

Saturdays are great days for hockey, and today is no different. Not only is it Hispanic Heritage Night for the San Jose Sharks (and rumor has it that the team is wearing special jerseys for warmups...), but it's a Hockey Day in San Jose, with the Barracuda hosting the San Antonio Rampage at 1:15PM today.

With the fires raging across the North Bay, the Sharks have set up several was for fans to contribute to the relief efforts. All proceeds from the 50/50 Raffle presented by Black Oak Casino will go towards the American Red Cross, and there will be opportunites for fans to donate directly at the doors of SAP Center.

After earning the first win of the season, the Sharks look to be going with the same lineup as Thursday, with one except: Aaron Dell is getting his first start of the season.
