The San Jose Sharks earned their first win on Thursday, a 3-2 victory over the winless Buffalo Sabres. It was a team effort in the win, with the Meier-Tierney-Donskoi line producing two goals (including one that will make all the highlight reels in Donskoi's no-look pass to Tierney).

It's Hispanic Heritage Night presented by your Northern California Honda Dealers, and Los Tiburones are going all-out to honor their Hispanic fans. There is a full arena Los Tiburones jersey giveaway that looks pretty sweet

In addition, tonight's game will also be broadcast in Spanish; on NBCSCA via the SAP option and on sjsharks.com with a live audio broadcast.

Tonight the Sharks face the New York Islanders, who are 1-2-1 as they continue their road trip through California, having lost 3-2 to the Anaheim Ducks earlier this week.
