The San Jose Sharks and the FINatical Kids Club (FKC) hosted their second skate session of the season at Logitech Ice on Saturday, Feb. 24 for close to 300 people.
Members and their guests filled Logitech Ice eager to get on the ice with their peers and celebrate another successful season with the club.
“This was a great opportunity for us to get out of the house on this gloomy day and spend some time with fans both young and old, who love the Sharks as much as we do,” said one parent. “We have been lucky enough to come to both Skate sessions this season and have had such an enjoyable time.”
This exclusive event included a raffle for members with a team signed jersey, mini-stick signed by Kids Club co-captain Jonathan Cheechoo, tickets to an upcoming game and more. Additionally, our good friends at Amici’s Pizzeria and Pepsi offered food and drinks for all in attendance. A perk that was a special treat, something the FINatical Kids Club was never able to offer before.
“When we called upon Amici’s and Pepsi to help out, they were there for us,” said FKC co-founder Jeff Cafuir. “They have been more than generous in making sure our members and their guests have the best experience possible today.”
Of course, no Skate Session would be complete without a visit from our favorite fish, S.J. Sharkie. As co-captain of the FKC, Sharkie makes it his mission to get involved with all FKC events as he is one of the reasons the club has become so popular in such a short amount of time.
Just another day well-spent for the FINatical Kids Club and its members!
