Goaltender J.P. Anderson and defenseman Konrad Abeltshauser are two of the most notable performers from this past year.

During the regular season, Anderson finished first in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) in goals against average (2.36), shutouts (6) and wins (38). The 19-year-old was named OHL Goaltender of the Month for March after posting a 10-0-0-0 record in the month with five shutouts, a .090 goals-against average and a .961 save percentage. He was also named OHL Goaltender of the Week for week ending March 27 after posting a 3-0 record with two shutouts, a .033 goals-against average and a .983 save percentage.

Albetshauser, who received a contract offer from the Sharks on June 1, posted 27 points (eight goals, 19 assists) and 47 penalty minutes during the regular season with the Halifax Mooseheads (QMJHL). In four playoff games with Halifax, he scored three goals.
