Events and Festivities Planned to Celebrate Marleau

Sharks fans, mark your calendars! The San Jose Sharks organization has announced a series of exciting events to celebrate the retirement of Patrick Marleau's No. 12 jersey, and fans won't want to miss any of them.

Kicking off the festivities is the 12 Days of Marleau countdown campaign, featuring Marleau-related content on Sharks social media channels and the chance to win various Marleau memorabilia. Fans can also take part in a fun Augmented Reality experience, hanging a digital Marleau banner wherever they choose to celebrate Marleau's career.
On February 23, 2023, the City of San Jose will declare February 25, 2023 'Patrick Marleau Day' in San Jose with a proclamation and flag raising ceremony.
On February 24, 2023, the Sharks Legends game at Tech CU Arena will feature Patrick Marleau and many of his former teammates.
The following day, February 25, now known as 'Patrick Marleau Day', fans can take in the day's festivites all around SAP center. Here's a look at the full schedule:

The free Patty Fest celebration beginning at 3 p.m. The event will include live art performances, feature some of Marleau's favorite food available via food trucks, and the opportunity to witness Sharks alumni arrive for the game with the Teal Carpet Alumni arrivals beginning at 3:30 p.m.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early and be in their seats for a special program before the main event. The Patrick Marleau No. 12 Retirement ceremony begins promptly at 5:35 p.m., followed by the Sharks facing off against the Chicago Blackhawks at 7 p.m. Every fan in attendance will receive a commemorative Patrick Marleau No. 12 Retirement poster presented by Zoom. The night will feature enhanced experiences, including special food and beverage options, new Patrick Marleau merchandise available at Sharks Pro Shop, and live art performances. For fans unable to attend the game in-person, NBC Sports California will carry live coverage of the pregame festivities, banner raising and stay live through puck drop. Sharks Audio Network will also be live for the Teal Carpet Alumni arrivals and stay live for an extended pregame show.
