CSNCA to Air 2013-14 Sharks Season Preview on 9/24

SAN FRANCISCO, California Comcast SportsNet California, the home of "Authentic Bay Area Sports," presents a comprehensive, in-depth analysis of the 2013-14 NHL season for the San Jose Sharks (@sanjosesharks) with a half-hour special - 2013-14 Sharks Season Preview premiering Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 10:30 p.m.


Hosted by Comcast SportsNet's nine-time regional Emmy Award winner Brodie Brazil, 2013-14 Sharks Season Preview features extensive preview and analysis from Bret Hedican, Comcast SportsNet's Sharks analyst, two-time U.S. Olympian and Stanley Cup champion; Jamie Baker (@Bakes_Jamie13), former Sharks forward and radio color analyst; and Kevin Kurz,'s Sharks Insider.


Headlining the program will be Logan Couture, who joins Brazil in a sit-down interview at San Jose's Santana Row to discuss his thoughts on the upcoming season and the team's hopes and goals; plus, Raffi Torres joins Brazil for a one-on-one interview to discuss the Sharks' lofty expectations for the 2013-14 campaign and what it's going to take to stay competitive in the Western Conference.  Other Sharks featured in the program are head coach Todd McLellan, Joe Thornton, Patrick Marleau and Dan Boyle.  Additionally, 2013-14 Sharks Season Preview examines the new NHL playoff format and the upcoming Winter Olympics.


Following the Sept. 24 (10:30 p.m.) debut, 2013-14 Sharks Season Preview re-airs on Sept. 25 (8:30 p.m.), Sept. 26 (10 p.m.), Sept. 27 (2:30 p.m.) and Sept. 30 (Midnight). Visit for additional air dates and times.


Comcast SportsNet California will air 77 live San Jose Sharks games during the 2013-14 season.  The network will begin its coverage of Sharks hockey on Thursday, Oct. 3, when the Sharks play their home and season opener against the Vancouver Canucks at 7 p.m. (pre-game coverage gets underway with Sharks Pregame Live at 6:30 p.m., and Sharks Postgame Live will follow immediately after the game).  Throughout the season, Comcast SportsNet California will present extensive game-day coverage with Sharks Pregame Live and Sharks Postgame Live; season-long, comprehensive Sharks news, analysis and insider reports on SportsNet Central and Yahoo!
