SAN FRANCISCO, CA – The San Francisco/Northern California Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences has honored Comcast SportsNet Bay Area and Comcast SportsNet California with a combined eight Emmy Awards in eight categories. The announcement was made last Saturday evening by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
The 39th Annual Northern California Area Emmy Awards, held at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis, recognized outstanding achievement by individuals and programs broadcast throughout the 2009 calendar year. Since 1990 the network has won 52 Northern California Emmy Awards.
