SAN FRANCISCO, CA – As the San Jose Sharks close in on the first Presidents’ Trophy in team history and home-ice advantage throughout the postseason, Comcast SportsNet Bay Area, the home of “Authentic Bay Area Sports,” looks ahead to the 2009 NHL playoffs from a Sharks perspective with In Search of Hockey’s Holy Grail, debuting on Tuesday, April 14 at 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. After the April 14 premiere, In Search of Hockey’s Holy Grail replays on April 15 at 3:30 p.m.

In Search of Hockey’s Holy Grail, a 30-minute program, is hosted by Scott Reiss, joined by Comcast SportsNet’s anchors/reporters Kate Longworth and Jaymee Sire. The program’s NHL experts recap the franchise record-setting 2008-2009 season of the Sharks, give fans an in-depth analysis of the upcoming playoffs, and break down the Sharks’ potential first-round opponents. In Search of Hockey’s Holy Grail features Jeremy Roenick in studio, and player interviews with Evgeni Nabokov, Patrick Marleau, Devin Setoguchi, Dan Boyle, Brad Lukowich, Claude Lemieux, and Sharks head coach Todd McLellan.
