) has been selected as the Sharks Foundation (

) "Sharks Player of the Month" for February.
Couture finished with 3 goals and 4 assists in the month of February, registering points in 6 of the Sharks' 10 games. He finished January on a hot streak as well and has 13 points in his last 15 contests.
The Guelph, Ontario native currently ranks third on the team in points with 41 and leads the team with 8 power-play goals.
Established in the 1996-97 season, the Sharks Foundation "Sharks Player of the Month" program honors the Sharks player(s) who have contributed most to the team's success each month. The Sharks Player of the Month and Year award program has donated more than $300,000 to the Sharks Foundation since the program's inception.
This is the 5th player of the month recognition for Couture.
