Comcast to Replay State of the Sharks

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - Comcast SportsNet, the home of “Authentic Bay Area Sports,” provides San Jose Sharks fans with an inside view of the organization with the annual State of the Sharks from HP Pavilion. Hosted by Sharks television play-by-play announcer Randy Hahn, the half-hour State of the Sharks premieres Monday, May 18 at 6:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet Bay Area.

The program features in-depth interviews with Sharks executives, head coach and players from the team’s State of the Sharks function held last night (Thursday, May 14) at San Jose’s HP Pavilion.

The event hosted season ticket-holders and fans as they received insights from Sharks President and Chief Executive Officer Greg Jamison, Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson, and Head Coach Todd McLellan. Sharks players were also in attendance, including Patrick Marleau, Joe Thorton, Dan Boyle, and Joe Pavelski. The fans in the audience were able to ask questions to members of the organization as the team prepares for the 2009-10 season.

After the May 18 (6:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.) debut on Comcast SportsNet Bay Area, the State of Franchise replays on Friday, May 22 (10:00 p.m.), Sunday, May 24 (4:30p.m.), Tuesday, May 26 (4:30 p.m.), Thursday, May 28 (6:30 p.m.), and Saturday, May 30 (10:00 p.m.). State of the Sharks is also available on Comcast Digital Cable’s ON DEMAND Channel 1.
