by San Jose Sharks Staff / San Jose Sharks
A couple players in the Sharks organization have recently received some well deserved recognition.

Prospect Charlie Coyle played a strong World Jr. Tournament and helped lead Team USA to the bronze medal. Coyle registered two goals and three assists in being named one of his country’s three stars. Coyle will now return to Boston University and assist in their NCAA efforts.

Current Shark Douglas Murray was just recognized for his college efforts at Cornell University. Cornell plays in the ECAC and in conjunction with the conference’s 50th anniversary the ECAC is naming its 50 greatest players of all-time. The players are being release in groups of five each week and Murray was just announced.

Murray was a two-time first team All-American (2002, 2003) and a three-time ECAC All-Tournament performer (2001, 2002, 2003)
