Broadcast Info For Preseason Games

SAN JOSE – The San Jose Sharks today announced their broadcast schedule for the 2010 preseason, which will include a radio webcast of the Sharks final preseason game on Oct. 2 against the Adler Eagles in Mannheim, Germany at SAP Arena on In addition, the Sept. 28 game at Vancouver and the Sept. 29 game vs. Vancouver will be carried live on television on NHL Network.

All 82 regular season games (including the first two in Stockholm) and Stanley Cup Playoff games will be carried live and in their entirety live on 98.5 KFOX and the Sharks Radio Network with Sharks Radio Play-by-Play Announcer Dan Rusanowsky and Color Commentator Jamie Baker once again calling the action

In addition, the Sharks final two preseason contests in North America – Sept. 28 at Vancouver and Sept. 29 vs. Vancouver from HP Pavilion – will be carried live on 98.5 KFOX and the Sharks Radio Network.

The preseason game in Mannheim, Germany will precede the team’s 2010-11 season opener in Stockholm, Sweden against the Columbus Blue Jackets at Ericsson Globe. The Sharks and Blue Jackets will play a “home and home” series on Fri., Oct. 8 and Sat., Oct. part of 2010 Compuware NHL Premiere and NHL Face-Off.

The Sharks home opener will be Sat., Oct. 16 vs. the Atlanta Thrashers.
