Join The Sharks Foundation and the San Jose Sharks for their biggest fundraising event of the year, the Applied Materials Sharks Foundation Golf Classic. After a two year hiatus, the event is back and better than ever.
This year the tournament goes Hawaiian with the theme Luau on the Links
. Participants can share a mai tai with some of their favorite players as they play on one of the most beautiful courses in the Bay Area at Cinnabar Hills Golf Club. Sharks players and coaches, including Patrick Marleau
, Joe Thornton
and Jonathan Cheechoo, are scheduled to play.
Highlights of the day include:
- Awards Dinner and Reception featuring San Jose Sharks players and broadcasters
- Lunch on the course provided by Smoke Tiki Lounge & Barbeque
- Prizes for Team Low Net and Team Low Gross
- Piercey Toyota Hole-in-One Contest
- Longest Drive, Closest-to-the-Pin and Hit-the-Mascot contests
- Fabulous tee prizes and team photo
- Complimentary drinks on the course and Mai Tai holes
- Live and Silent Auctions
Individuals and teams are welcome, but spots fill up quickly so register
today! Cost is $3,000 for a foursome plus a celebrity golfer, $2,500 per fivesome (not including a celebrity golfer), and $500 for individual players. Net proceeds will benefit The Sharks Foundation.

Net proceeds from this event will benefit The Sharks Foundation’s 2006-07 Beneficiaries, which will be announced in January. Previous beneficiaries have included California Highway Patrol 11-99 Foundation, Greater San Jose After School All-Stars, Next Door Solutions to Domestic Violence, Silicon Valley Children’s Fund and others.
