All-Star Weekend festivities were officially underway today for the San Jose Sharks.
It wouldn't be All-Star Weekend with out the hustle and bustle of media day. Today, the San Jose Sharks players and coach Peter DeBoer met with media and offered up a few laughs into the mics, just as the Sharks do best.
Upon entering the interviews, the players signed autographs for over one hundred NHL Learn To Play kids who were eager to deck out their t-shirts in marker.

The Brent Burns bobblehead presented by SAP made an appearance on the podium, striking up conversation and amusement with Brent Burns himself.

After the interviews Pavelski, Jones and Burns chatted it up with some other "colleagues". They may look familiar.

The four Sharks - Pavelski, Burns, Jones, and Coach DeBoer - headed over to Staples Center to take part in the Skills Competition. But before they hit the ice, Nate Pavelski and Jagger Burns got into some shenanigans in the dressing room.

They even had a visit from Snoop Dogg.

Once the Skills Competition began, all three Sharks were received loudly in Los Angeles - but it wasn't clear if they were yelling BOO or BOO-URNS.

Both Burns and Pavelski did their part to get the Pacific Division the win for the night, including a top corner snipe from the red line by Burns.

Of course, you can't go through the entire Skills Competition without taking a selfie.

Burns ended the night with the fanciest goal (attempt) in the NHL Shootout, trying to pull a Tomas Hertl but just catching the iron.

With that, the Skills Competition day was in the books. Next up: the All Star Game 3-on-3 Tournament.
