Top of the Class: Adam Boqvist

With the Senators set to pick 4th overall at the 2018 NHL Draft in Dallas, we're profiling some of this year's top eligible prospects starting with Swedish defenceman Adam Boqvist.

As one of the younger players in the 2018 draft class, Boqvist is far from a finished product but reviews on his offensive game have drawn comparisons to a fellow countryman and familiar face to Sens fans: Erik Karlsson.
While it's probably unfair to saddle Boqvist with the burden of living up to Karlsson's accomplishments, the 18-year-old Swedish defender possesses some of the best offensive skill available from the blueline in this class and with his defensive game continuing to improve he's proving to be worthy of a top pick at the draft.
