June 20th will ultimately go down as one of the more significant days in Sens history thanks to Erik Karlsson.
Not only was Erik drafted 15th overall on June 20, 2008; he captured his first career Norris Trophy on June 20, 2012. In many ways, it's reminiscent of Paul MacLean winning his first Jack Adams two years to the day after he was hired as Sens coach.
Rule of thumb from here on out: The more overlap between bringing someone into the organization and award shows, the better.
