Three Ottawa Senators prospects are leaving the 2021 World Juniors with medals around their necks.

After the United States beat Canada 2-0 in the gold medal game in Edmonton Tuesday night, Tyler Kleven and Jake Sanderson will leave with gold medals.
Kleven appeared in just two games, both in the round-robin, tallying one assist in the process. Sanderson played in every game for the US and notched two helpers. Sanderson was third in total time on ice in the tournament for the US, playing an average of 18:04 a night.
Additionally, Finland's Roby Jarventie won a bronze medal after a 4-1 win over Russia. In six games, he was held pointless.
German forward Tim Stützle bowed out in the quarterfinals after a narrow defeat to Russia but he left the tournament with a lasting impression, notching five goals and 10 points in only five games to finish in a tie for third in tournament scoring. Incredibly, as a forward, he played 25:40 a night, the second highest time on ice average of the tournament.
Furthermore, he was named the tournament's best forward, was selected to the World Juniors all-star team and was named as one of Germany's top three performers at the tournament.
All four Senators prospects were 2020 NHL Draft selections and were four of the team's first five choices in October.
