We asked Sens prospect Tobias Lindberg 7 questions about Development Camp, his plans for the summer and more...
His thoughts on the 2015 Sens Development Camp:
I think I did well. I hadn't skated for awhile so it was nice to see that the body was still working. I felt strong and the longer I played the better I felt. It was nice to see all the guys and staff again.
On his highlight from camp:
There really isn't a specific moment that comes to mind, we had a great time this week. This is my third year so I know all the guys now and it was great to go out and have nice dinners at night with them. Lots of great memories from this week.
On the biggest thing he took away after Dev Camp:
It's important to have a great summer and to get stronger and all that but I think I need to become more of a leader with this group because it's my third year being apart of the organization. I'm not a rookie anymore at these camps. I want to show that I can be a leader here and show the younger guys how to act on and off the ice.
On the first thing he's going to do when he gets back home:
I'll probably spend some time with my sisters. I haven't seen them for awhile since I was only home for a few weeks after my season ended so I'll give them a hug.
His plans for the rest of the summer:
I have a planned vacation with a few friends to Greece and when I get back the training starts.
On players he skates with in the off-season:
Me and my friend Oskar Andren always skate and train together. We usually go to Denver in August to train with my agent who has a house there. The altitude really helps you get into great shape.
On looking forward to next season:
I had a great first season in North America so I want to keep building on that and continue to get better. My ultimate goal is to play in the NHL so I want to show the Senators staff that I can be a good player, handle it physically, make good plays...I just want to show them that I can be an NHL player one day.
