It was another big day for Sens at the World Championships on Thursday as Kyle Turris and Stéphane Da Costa both hit the scoresheets for their countries.
Stephane Da Costa - Da Costa scored the lone goal for France early in the third period of a 2-1 loss to Sweden on Thursday. His goal was unassisted. This latest tally gives Da Costa three for the tournament after scoring a pair against Canada in the opening game of the Worlds.
Kyle Turris - Turris had a pair of assists for Canada in a 6-1 win over Denmark on Thursday, both of which were primary helpers on goals scored by Philadelphia's Matt Read. Cody Hodgson of the Buffalo Sabres led the way for the Canadians with a hat trick. Turris now has three points in tournament play after scoring his first goal on Monday against the Czech Republic.
