There's no official count of which NHL team is best represented on Twitter, but the Sens stack up very well league-wide when it comes to expressing themselves in 140 characters or less.
The team's Twitter count went up one last night when man, myth, legend, captain Daniel Alfredsson joined the social network sweeping the world one hashtag at a time.
As you may expect, his Sens teammates had plenty of thoughts to share on his internet arrival. Alfie himself channeled a little bit of Bono with his first ever tweet in honour of the Sens' playoff clinch.
And with that, the floodgates opened for the peanut gallery. They did not disappoint.
Even a former Senators player got in on the action as Mike Fisher jumped into the fray. In related news, we may want to check Erik Karlsson's birth certificate.
And, with that, I'm sure the Sens Army is just as pumped to see their fearless leader on Twitter. We'd try and get Paul MacLean on board too, but that may break the internet.
Maybe one day when you're older and better prepared, Twitter.
