also scored for the Senators.
Weller batted home the rebound of a Peter Regin
shot to make it 1-1 after the Panthers opening the scoring. Later in the period, Zubov wired a slap shot past Florida netminder Tyler Plante to put Ottawa ahead to say.
Lawrence, who attended Sens rookie camp this week on an amateur tryout, boosted the Ottawa lead to 3-1 at the 5:50 mark of the second period, converting a 2-on-1 with Regin. The Nebraska-Omaha grad added the insurance goal late in the third after Shawn Matthias scored for Florida. Both goals were power-play efforts.
