After yesterday's re-assignment of Mike Hoffman, the Ottawa Senators made their corresponding move this morning with the recall of Ottawa native Jean-Gabriel Pageau.
Pageau was re-assigned to Binghamton from Ottawa earlier this season after breaking training camp with the Sens and thrived in the American League during his stint.
From the official release...
Pageau, 21, began the 2013-14 season with Ottawa and appeared in eight of the club’s first 12 games, registering one point (one goal) and two penalty minutes before being assigned to Binghamton on Oct. 31. The Ottawa native has recorded 16 points, including six goals, in 15 games with the B-Sens this season.
He is expected in the Sens lineup tonight when they take on the Buffalo Sabres.
