Sens recall Grant

by Chris Lund / Ottawa Senators

The Ottawa Senators made a pair of moves on Friday, re-assigning Stephane Da Costa to the Binghamton Senators and recalling Derek Grant. The recall is Grant's second appearance with the big club after he played in five games last season.

From the official release...

Grant, 23, has recorded two goals (one shorthanded) and five penalty minutes in three games with the B-Sens this season. The 6-3, 206-pound native of Abbotsford, B.C., was held pointless in five National Hockey League games last season. He scored 19 goals (including a league-leading five shorthanded markers) and 28 points in 63 AHL regular-season games in 2012-13.

The Sens return to action tomorrow afternoon against the Edmonton Oilers.
