Let's take a brief moment to pan around the world of hockey and see how Senators prospects are faring in their respective playoff quests.
Ben Harpur - Harpur and the Guelph Storm are off to the Memorial Cup final on Sunday after defeating Val-D'Or by a 6-3 score to improve their record to 2-0 in round robin play. Through two games, Harpur is an even player with four penalty minutes in Guelph's victories. The Storm return to action tonight when they take on the London Knights.
Curtis Lazar - Lazar was named first star for the Oil Kings on Tuesday night with a two point performance — a goal and an assist — in a double overtime loss to the Val-D'Or Foreurs. The two points give him three for the tournament which puts him in a tie for first amongst Oil Kings and second overall in tournament scoring with 11 other players. The Oil Kings will return to action either Thursday night or Friday night depending on the outcome of Wednesday night's game between the Knights and Storm.
