of the 2020 NHL Draft Lottery in June.
However, the status of their third first round pick was up in the air due to the New York Islanders' Stanley Cup playoffs run after Ottawa acquired their first-round selection as part of the Jean-Gabriel Paguea trade.
With the Islanders' loss to Tampa Bay tonight eliminating them from the playoffs, the Sens now know they will also hold the 28th overall pick in the draft.

The 2020 NHL Draft will take place virtually Oct. 6-7.
