OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators (@Senators) announced today that the club has traded defenceman Ian Cole to the Columbus Blue Jackets for a third-round draft pick in the 2020 NHL Draft and forwared Nick Moutrey.

Moutrey, 22, has three goals and three assists in 22 games with Columbus' American Hockey League affiliate, the Cleveland Monsters this year. The 6-3, 222-pound Moutrey will be assigned to Ottawa's AHL affiliate, the Belleville Senators.

Cole was acquired by the Senators on Friday along with goaltending prospect Filip Gustavsson, a 2018 first-round draft pick and a 2019 third-round draft choice from the Pittsburgh Penguins as part of a three-team trade with the Vegas Golden Knights
