OTTAWA- In conjunction with the National Hockey League and in consideration of an anticipated major winter storm, the
Ottawa Senators
announced today that tomorrow's game against the Detroit Red Wings at Canadian Tire Centre has been postponed. The game has been rescheduled to Monday, Feb. 27, at 7 p.m.

"While unfortunate that we have to postpone the game, the safety of our players, fans, staff and those working at the arena is our first priority," said Senators president of business operations Anthony LeBlanc. "Given the anticipated forecast we felt strongly the best decision was to move the game to February. We wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season and we look forward to seeing you back at the rink on Dec. 27."
Patrons with tickets to Friday's game are asked to retain their tickets, they will be valid for the rescheduled date. More information will be communicated to individual ticket holders in the coming days.
