OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators (@Senators) announced today the introduction of a new Alfredsson 11-game ticket package that is on sale now. This package marks the first time that those fans who are not full or half season-seat members will have access to the Dec. 29 game where former Senators captain and all-time leading scorer Daniel Alfredsson will have his number 11 jersey retired.

Those fans who purchase the Alfredsson 11-game ticket package will also gain access to season-seat member benefits, including access to exclusive events and the Sens VIP Points program.

The Alfredsson 11-game ticket package features a variety of opponents from the Eastern and Western Conference, including: the Los Angeles Kings on Nov. 11, Nashville Predators on Nov. 17, Buffalo Sabres on Nov. 29, Florida Panthers on Dec. 3, New Jersey Devils on Dec. 17, Washington Capitals on Jan. 7, 2017, the Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins on Jan. 12, Columbus Blue Jackets on Jan. 22, St. Louis Blues on Feb. 7 and finally the Colorado Avalanche on March 2.

On Dec. 4, 2014, Alfredsson returned to Ottawa to formally retire from professional hockey as a Senator. In September of 2015 Alfredsson joined the Senators' front office as senior advisor of hockey operations, a position he maintains today. On Dec. 29, as part of the kick-off to the Senators #Sens25 anniversary celebrations, Alfredsson's number will be retired prior to Ottawa's game against the Detroit Red Wings.
