Hagel, 28, has scored two goals and added five assists in 26 American Hockey League games with the Iowa Wild this season. The 6-0, 196-pound native of Hamilton, Ont., has scored 35 goals and 58 assists for 93 points in 219 career AHL games with Iowa and the Lake Erie Monsters.
Hagel will be assigned to Binghamton and is expected to be in the lineup when the team hosts the Hershey Bears on Friday, Feb. 3.
