Sens winger Milan Michalek offers up some post-skate comments before tonight's game in Montreal against the Canadiens.
On taking pride in being able to play on any line:
I think it's important to have guys like that on the team especially when guys get injured. I've played all the forward positions in my career so I'm comfortable with it. It's fun and I like it.
On facing the Canadiens in Montreal:
They're playing really good this year so we know it's going to be a tough game. It's a really loud arena so you know there's going to be a lot of energy so we have to try and use that to our advantage. We have to play all 60 minutes and give our overall best. Hopefully we should come out on top.
On trying to stay out of penalty trouble:
We're taking too many penalties right now and that's costing us too much energy. When we get behind, we don't have the energy to come back so it's tough. Especially with the lazy penalties like tripping and hooking...we have to get away from that.
On wanting to bounce back after the loss at home to Detroit:
I thought the game before in Detroit we played really good. That probably was our best game the whole year. Then we came home and we lost that game and didn't play very well so we want to bounce back. We have to be more consistent, win games and get a little streak going.
