We caught up with Sens centre Mika Zibanejad yesterday before the Sens hit the road for 3 games against Canadian teams out West...
His thoughts on the team's play before hitting the road:
I think we have to keep building on what we've been doing over the past 3 games. That's in terms of playing how we've been playing but obviously a little bit better and for a little bit longer. It sounds very cliche but it's as simple as that.
On sustaining the momentum for their Western Canadian road trip that starts in Edmonton:
We've been talking a lot and I think we're just getting into a bit of a groove here. With the 3 games at home and winning those, now having that good feeling and taking it on the road. Being really focused on winning tomorrow and being really focused on doing what we're supposed to do and what we know we can do. Get a win there and keep it going.
On bouncing back from the last meeting against the Oilers:
I don't care what the score was. All that matters is we get the 2 points out of there and move on. I think we know the way to do it and we know how we're supposed to do it. We don't have to talk about it more than that just to play.
