OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators (@Senators) announced today that as part of the team's ongoing efforts to engage the Gatineau-Ottawa community, they will host an open practice on Wednesday, Oct. 17, at the Robert Guertin Arena in Gatineau. The event will be free of charge, allowing all fans to take in the experience of seeing the Senators players take the ice.

"We're very excited to have the opportunity to bring the team to the Gatineau community and the legendary Robert Guertin Arena," said general manager Pierre Dorion. "It is a great opportunity to more personally introduce our exciting young roster to our fans in Gatineau. It's been a challenging month for the entire region, and we hope this can provide some fun and some smiles for a community that has been so hard hit by the tornados."

The doors will open to the Robert Guertin Arena at 10:15 a.m. for the team's 11 a.m. practice. Following the completion of practice, three Senators players, Jean-Gabriel Pageau, Thomas Chabot and Max Lajoie, will visit Ecole Saint-Paul School in Gatineau to participate in a question and answer session with students and staff.
