The Ottawa Senators have the utmost concern for the health and safety of our fans and consumers. We are aware that Health Canada issued a recall for a third party-manufactured promotional clothing item bearing our logo and we are relieved that there have been no reports of injury.
Approximately 5,000 promotional red baby onesies featuring the Ottawa Senators logo on the front and Canadian Tire logo on the right sleeve were manufactured by Reward Connections Inc. on behalf of Canadian Tire. These onesies were made available in October and November 2017 during which time approximately 2400 were distributed. The recall relates to a report of the metal snap detaching from the onesie. Consumers should immediately stop using the affected onesie and contact Reward Connections Inc. for product return and disposal.While the Senators did not manufacture this product, we are working diligently with our partners at Canadian Tire to inform those with the products.
