1920x1080-SCHEDULE-RELEASE-2

OTTAWA - The National Hockey League and the Ottawa Senators announced today the 2022-23 regular-season schedule, which will see the club begin the campaign on Thursday, Oct. 13 against the Buffalo Sabres. It will mark the first time the Senators have opened the campaign against the Sabres since the 2015-16 season, which also marks the last time they began a year on the road (which also took place at Buffalo).

The 2022-23 regular-season will see the continuation of the unbalanced Atlantic Division schedule where the Senators will face conference rivals Boston, Buffalo, Detroit, Montreal and Toronto four times respectively. Ottawa will oppose Florida and Tampa Bay three times each.
The team's home schedule features 11 of its first 17 games at Canadian Tire Centre and a total of 23 games from Thursday to Sunday at home, including 12 Saturday home games. The home portion of the schedule will be highlighted by the team's game on Monday, Nov. 14, vs. the N.Y. Islanders which will start at 5 p.m. ahead of the induction of the franchise's all-time scoring leader, Daniel Alfredsson, into the Hockey Hall of Fame which will take place following the game. All fans in attendance at Canadian Tire Centre will be invited to attend a viewing party of the induction which will be available to watch on the Bell HD Screen.
The 82-game 2022-23 calendar will feature home and road games against all 31 league opponents and will see the Senators conclude their regular-season schedule on Thursday, April 13 at Buffalo following their final home game of the season on Monday, April 10, when the Carolina Hurricanes make their lone visit of the campaign to the nation's capital.
