NHL Revealed to debut January 23

by Chris Lund / Ottawa Senators

The NHL's seven part series chronicling the journey of this year's six outdoor games — which includes the Ottawa Senators who face the Vancouver Canucks in the 2014 Heritage Classic — will debut on January 22 at 11:00 pm in the USA and January 23 in Canada.

From the NHL...

NHL Revealed™: A Season Like No Other™ is a seven-part series that will tell the stories of nine teams -- on and off the ice -- as they participate in 2013-14 regular-season games, including the 2014 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series™ and the 2014 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic™. Additionally, the cameras will follow the NHL's top stars as they travel to Sochi in February to compete against each other in the 2014 Olympic Winter Games and, finally, reunite to begin the march to the 2014 Stanley Cup® Playoffs.

The special extended version of each NHL Revealed™: A Season Like No Other™ episode will be made available on demand through iTunes, Google Play, Amazon Instant Video (U.S. only), YouTube rentals (outside of North America), (outside of North America) and Sony Entertainment Network. NHL Revealed™: A Season Like No Other™ - Extended Edition will feature an extra 15 minutes of never before seen footage to give fans a deeper look at the series. The first episode will be available for download for free across each platform. Extended episodes 2-7 can be purchased à la carte or through a season pass through select providers.

"With the success of '24/7: Road to the Winter Classic," our fans have shown that they have a big appetite for expanded content and behind-the-scenes footage of their favorite teams and superstars," Collins added. "The extended versions of NHL Revealed™: A Season Like No Other™ will give the fans insightful looks into the NHL players' worlds as they participate in the Stadium Series and the Olympics."

Of interest to Sens fans, specific players expected to be featured include Sens captain Jason Spezza and defenceman Erik Karlsson as well as behind the scenes footage shot on game and practice days with the team.
