News Release: TSN to broadcast 54 Ottawa Senators regular-season games in 2015-16

OTTAWA – The Ottawa Senators (@Senators), along with official team broadcaster TSN, today announced their regional television package of 54 Senators games for the 2015-16 season. Sens fans can turn to TSN, TSN Radio and TSN Digital platforms all season long for live game coverage and industry-leading news and analysis surrounding the team.

In total, TSN5 delivers a package of 54 regional Sens games throughout the 2015-16 regular season, plus a slate of pre-season games. Regular season coverage begins with the Sens’ season opener when they visit the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday, Oct. 8, at 7 p.m. on TSN5 (see below for a complete broadcast schedule).

Highlights of the 2015-16 Sens on TSN broadcast schedule include:

- The Sens’ season opener against Buffalo on Oct. 8

- Six all-Canadian matchups, including games against Edmonton Montreal, Vancouver and Winnipeg

- 14 games against Atlantic Division opponents

- Four games against the defending Eastern Conference champion Tampa Bay Lightning

- Four of the team’s final five regular-season games

The Sens on TSN

TSN’s package of regional Sens games is available to TSN subscribers that live in the team’s designated broadcast region – which includes Eastern Ontario, Québec and Atlantic Canada.

This marks the second year of Bell Media’s comprehensive partnership with the Senators, spanning television, radio and sponsorship. As part of the 12-year agreement, TSN and RDS are the official broadcasters of the Senators through the 2025-2026 season.

TSN’s Regional Broadcast Team

TSN’s package of Sens games is led by the network’s all-star studio broadcast team, featuring host James Duthie, hockey insiders Bob McKenzie, Darren Dreger and Pierre LeBrun as well as analysts Aaron Ward, Martin Biron and Dave Poulin.

The Sens on TSN features game commentary from award-winning play-by-play announcers Gord Miller and Chris Cuthbert with game analysts Ray Ferraro and Jamie McLennan. Brent Wallace returns as the sideline host for Senators broadcasts for the 2015-16 season.

TSN Radio 1200 in Ottawa

As the team’s official radio broadcaster, TSN Radio 1200 in Ottawa delivers live coverage of every Sens game. Calling all games are play-by-play announcer Dean Brown and colour analyst Gord Wilson. TSN 1200 also features pre-game, intermission and post-game coverage with hosts Ian Mendes and Lee Versage with analysts Todd White, Shawn Simpson and Matt Bradley. Fans can also turn to the station for extensive Sens talk throughout the day, including TGOR in the morning with hosts John Rodenburg and Steve Warne, IN THE BOX with Steve Lloyd and  White and THE DRIVE in the afternoon with Mendes and Shawn Simpson.
