OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators (@Senators) announced today that Tuesday night’s 7:30 p.m. home game against the Pittsburgh Penguins will serve as the team’s annual Fan Appreciation Night, presented by Sport Chek. Fans in attendance at Canadian Tire Centre and those engaging with the Senators from all parts of the globe via the team’s social media platforms will be eligible to win more than $100,000 worth of prizes that will be given away as part of the last home game of the 2014-15 regular season.
There are currently fewer than 1,500 tickets remaining for the game, which features the Senators against one of the three teams they trail by two points in the standings for a playoff spot in the National Hockey League’s Eastern Conference.
Following Tuesday’s game, more than 20 fans, including a number of season-seat and suite owners will win an opportunity to go on the ice and be presented with a game-used stick ice by one of the Ottawa Senators players. In addition, casual ticket buyers, fans engaging over social media (Twitter: @Senators; Facebook: www.facebook.com/ottawasenators) and winners from a contest at Sens House will also be entered into the evening’s draw to receive a Senators’ game-used stick on the ice.
In the days leading up to Tuesday’s game, Sens House has been giving away tickets to Fan Appreciation Night to 20 lucky fans, who will be brought to and from the game on the Canadian Tire Fan Bus. One lucky winner from this group will also participate in the aforementioned Sport Chek’s Sticks Out of Our Hands promotion post-game
Fan Appreciation Night will feature hundreds of prizes that will be given away to lucky Sens fans in attendance, courtesy of the team’s sponsors and partners including Bell, Bell Media, Bell Sensplex, Brookstreet, CAA, Coca-Cola, Esso, Mark’s, McDonald’s, Molson, Movati Athletic, OLG, Pizza Pizza, Scotiabank, Sell-Off Vacations, Smoke’s Poutinerie, Sport Chek/Canadian Tire, Swiss Chalet, Subway, The Source, Tim Hortons and many more.
