by Staff Writer / Ottawa Senators

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators (@Senators) announced today that the club has re-assigned goaltender Nathan Lawson to its American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.

A Calgary native, Lawson served as the back-up to Robin Lehner for each of the club’s two victories this past week, in Columbus on Tuesday and against Montreal on Thursday.

Lawson, 30, is currently tied for fifth among American Hockey League goaltenders with five wins this season. The 6-2, 198-pound netminder has a record of 5-1-0, in addition to a 2.22 goals-against-average and a .931 save percentage through seven appearances in 2013-14 with the B-Sens.

Ottawa returns to action when the club welcomes the Florida Panthers to Canadian Tire Centre for a matinee contest tomorrow at 2 p.m.

The B-Sens visit Rochester in their next game this evening at 7:05 p.m.
