OTTAWA – The Ottawa Senators (@Senators) provided updates today on plans for Wednesday’s postponed game versus the Toronto Maple Leafs and Saturday’s home game versus the New Jersey Devils.
Rescheduling of Wednesday’s game versus Toronto
Wednesday’s game against Toronto has been rescheduled for Sunday, Nov. 9, at 6 p.m.
Tickets for last night’s game will be valid for the game on Nov. 9, while any single-game ticket buyers who have a conflict can contact Capital Tickets at 613-599-FANS (3267) or their account representative. If season-seat members are unable to utilize their tickets for the Nov. 9 game, they are eligible to trade their tickets for alternative games at www.ottawasenators.com/mysensaccount.
Hockey Fights Cancer night, which was to be held on Wednesday, has been moved to Thursday, Oct. 30, when the Senators will host the Chicago Blackhawks at Canadian Tire Centre at 7:30 p.m.
Saturday’s game versus New Jersey
All patrons, both staff and guests, will be screened with hand-held metal detectors in addition to having their bags searched before they will be granted access into the building on Saturday and on all future event days at Canadian Tire Centre as part of the building’s enhanced security measures.
With these enhanced security measures, the Senators are asking fans to arrive early to avoid delays entering the building. Doors will open early at 5 p.m. to help with access into Canadian Tire Centre.
There will be a special pre-game ceremony, including a moment of silence prior to the national anthems.
The Senators are encouraging all fans to wear red to the game as a sign of support and solidarity for our fallen soldiers and first responders.
