News Release: Senators launch 2016-17 season-seat renewal campaign, 29 Days of Prizes

by Staff Writer / Ottawa Senators

OTTAWA – The Ottawa Senators (@Senators) today unveiled the club’s 2016-17 season-seat renewal campaign, 29 Days of Prizes. Beginning on Monday, Feb. 1, 29 Days of Prizes is an incentive-based program offering fans who renew their tickets for next season with the chance to win up to 29 exclusive Senators prizes, one per day throughout the month of February, in addition to receiving entry for two grand prize draws.

Additionally, and for the first time, Senators fans will have the option to enroll in the team’s recently unveiled “Sens Fan for Life” program, which will see packages automatically renewed under the same seating and payment plans on an annual basis. Invites to an exclusive player meet and greet will accompany the first 300 full-season renewal packages while all Sens Fan for Life members will receive a jersey patch, 500 additional VIP points while becoming eligible for additional prizing including entry in a draw to win a trip for two on the Senators team charter to Boston for the team’s regular-season finale on April 9. Sens VIP Points can be redeemed for great experiences including press box seating, an all-inclusive experience in Canadian Club and riding the Zamboni at intermission.

The 29 Days of Prizes campaign will provide fans, upon renewal, with one prize ballot for all remaining days in February, with the opportunity to win up to 29 prizes which have a total value of more than $90,000. Prizes include autographed jerseys, 100-level centre ice seats or suites, Le Nordik Spa gift certficates and more. The earlier the renewal date will equate to a greater number of prize ballots and, by extension, a greater chance to win. Entry into grand prize draws will automatically take place following all February renewals.

In addition to special savings on tickets, those fans who renew their tickets before the Feb. 29 29 Days of Prizes deadline will also receive up to $250 per seat in Sens Bucks which can be used towards Canadian Tire Centre concessions, restaurants, merchandise, tickets, suites and parking. Fans who settle their accounts in full by Feb. 29 will receive an additional two per cent cash savings.

Further to saving an average of 35 per cent on regular-season single-game tickets and a benefits package that ranks first in value among Canadian NHL teams, season-seat members continue to receive the most affordable ticketing option, priority access to playoff tickets, post-season savings and parking discounts. Renewed accounts will also receive priority access for ordering tickets for the 2016 World Cup of Hockey exhibition game that will next place in Ottawa next September.

To renew season-seats, members are asked to visit or to contact their respective membership account manager at or 613-599-0300.
