News Release: Senators assign forward Stephane Da Costa to Binghamton (AHL)

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators (@Senators) announced today that the club has assigned forward Stephane Da Costa to its American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.

Da Costa, 24, began the 2013-14 season with Ottawa and has appeared in four of the club’s first seven games while being held scoreless and registering two penalty minutes. The Paris native has played 39 NHL contests over his career (all with the Senators) recording seven points (four goals, three assists) and 10 penalty minutes.

Ottawa returns to action when the club welcomes the Edmonton Oilers to Canadian Tire Centre for the only time this season on Saturday at 2 p.m.

Da Costa will be eligible to play for the B-Sens when they visit Syracuse this evening at 7:05 p.m.
