News Release: Senators announce details of special ticket offer to fans following Tuesday’s snowfall

by Staff Writer / Ottawa Senators

OTTAWA – The Ottawa Senators (@Senators) announced today the full details on the ticket offer made to fans who were impacted by Tuesday’s snowfall in the Ottawa-Gatineau region.

Given the challenges that many Senators fans faced with the record accumulation of snow and in appreciation for the best fans in the National Hockey League, the Sens have offer fans who made the extra effort to attend last night’s 2-1 shootout victory over the Buffalo Sabres at Canadian Tire Centre a deal with 50 per cent off of game tickets to either Thursday’s home game versus the Carolina Hurricanes, the game on Tuesday, March 1, versus the St. Louis Blues or on Tuesday, March 15, versus the Minnesota Wild.

Those fans unable to make it to Canadian Tire Centre for the game due to the inclement weather have been offered a free ticket (of the same price level as their original purchase) to either Thursday’s game versus Carolina, the Senators game on March 1 versus St. Louis or on March 15 when they host Minnesota.

Those ticket holders impacted by last night’s event will receive information on how to redeem this offer sent to the original purchaser of the tickets.

The full details for redeeming the ticket offer is as follows:

For those fans who purchased tickets for Tuesday’s game and had their tickets scanned in to the building at Canadian Tire Centre, Capital Tickets will be sending the original purchaser a unique promo code to receive 50 per cent off to either the game against Carolina on Feb. 18, St. Louis on March 1 or Minnesota on March 15.

For those fans who purchased tickets for Tuesday’s game, who were not in attendance at Canadian Tire Centre and their tickets were not scanned into the building, Capital Tickets will be sending the original purchaser a unique promo code offering free tickets to either the game against Carolina on Feb. 18, St. Louis on March 1 or Minnesota on March 15.

Fans who do not have a Capital Tickets account linked to their ticket purchase can visit the Canadian Tire Centre Box Office in person to redeem this deal. Those purchasers in attendance last night will be required to show their used game tickets from Tuesday night to receive the 50 per cent off deal for one of the three games.

Original ticket purchasers who do not have a Capital Tickets account linked to their ticket purchase can also visit the box office to redeem their unused tickets from Tuesday’s game to have the opportunity to receive free tickets to either the game against Carolina on Feb. 18, St. Louis on March 1 or Minnesota on March 15.
