News Release: Senators announce 2015-16 regular-season schedule

by Staff Writer / Ottawa Senators

OTTAWA – The National Hockey League and the Ottawa Senators (@Senators) announced today the 2015-16 regular-season schedule, which will see the club open on the road when it visits the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday, Oct. 8. The Senators will begin the season with two road games before opening their home schedule at Canadian Tire Centre on Sunday, Oct. 11, when they host the divisional rival Montreal Canadiens at 7 p.m. The 82-game calendar concludes when Ottawa visits the Boston Bruins on Saturday, April 9.

The Senators’ 2015-16 regular-season schedule will feature home and road games against every NHL team. The Senators will face two of their Atlantic Division rivals five times (Detroit and Florida) and will play four games against the remaining five teams (Boston, Buffalo, Montreal, Tampa Bay and Toronto). Ottawa will play the remaining eight teams in the Eastern Conference on three occasions, and will play a home-and-home series against all 14 Western Conference clubs. The home schedule is highlighted by 12 Saturday contests, including 11 night games and one matinee matchup, which will take place on Saturday, Nov. 14, against the New York Rangers at 1 p.m.

Season tickets for the 2015-16 season are currently on sale. Senators season-seats provide savings of an average of 35 per cent on regular-season single-game tickets and a benefits package that ranks first in value among Canadian NHL teams. Season-seat members continue to receive the most affordable ticketing option, priority access to playoff tickets, post-season savings and parking discounts.

In addition to season-seats, Senators ticket packages will go on sale early to the public this year and are expected to be available in mid-July. Follow the team on social media (@Senators) or visit the club’s website at (www.ottawasenators.com) for package details.

Canadian Tire Centre is currently undergoing a significant construction project, which is its largest since the building opened in 1996. The outcome of this project will be the introduction of Club Bell, Canadian Tire Centre’s newest premier club that will be located on the northwest side of the building. The all-inclusive Victory Suites, Loges and Luxe Seats will redefine Ottawa’s premium in-game experience.

For information on season-seats, ticket packages and Club Bell, please contact the Senators’ sales and service team at 613-599-0200.
