by Staff Writer / Ottawa Senators
OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators and Intersport Production announced today a partnership that will see each of the Senators upcoming regular-seson games broadcast in French, on 94,5 CJFO-FM. The one-year agreement will also include any post-season contests.

Based in Ottawa, 94,5 CJFO-FM will feature the play-by-play calling of Nicolas St. Pierre and the colour commentary of Alain Sanscartier. An intermission reporter will once again join the duo for home and some road broadcasts.

“It has long been a priority to continue to have Senators games broadcast on French radio in our market,” said Jim Steel, Ottawa Senators vice-president of broadcasting. “The organization has a longstanding relationship with both Nicolas and Alain, and we are thrilled that they will provide Senators action for our Francophone audience this season.”

“94,5 CJFO-FM is proud to join forces with the Ottawa Senators,” said Gilles Poulin, station general manager. “With this partnership, fans from Ottawa, eastern Ontario, Gatineau and surrounding cities, will be able follow their favourite team in French”.

“Intersport Production is proud to be associated with the Ottawa Senators,” said St-Pierre. “This partnership demonstrates the team’s efforts to provide continued French coverage of their games to francophone fans in Ottawa and throughout the Outaouais.”

Full broadcast details will be made available following the release of the NHL schedule.
