by Staff Writer / Ottawa Senators

OTTAWA – The Ottawa Senators (@Senators) will celebrate the 2015 NHL Draft with a draft party on Friday, June 26, at Sens House (73 York St.) in the ByWard Market.

Presented by Sens House and TSN 1200, the Sens Draft Party is set to run from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will feature great prizes, a visit by Spartacat, the Senators’ ambassador of fun, and the Sens Brigade. TSN 1200’s Steve Warne and Steve Lloyd will broadcast live from Sens House from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. with special draft day coverage, while the evening’s activities will be hosted by Senators colour analyst Gord Wilson.

With broadcast coverage of the entry draft scheduled to commence at 7 p.m., guests attending the party will be able to participate in a ‘Hot Stove’ panel discussion with Senators alumni Laurie Boschman and Todd White beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Fans in attendance will be eligible to win great Senators prizes including signed jerseys, hats, Sport Chek gift cards and a suite for a 2015-16 pre-season game at Canadian Tire Centre. We are encouraging fans to make a reservation at Sens House for tomorrow’s draft party as the venue is nearing capacity for the event. Those interested in attending the party can contact Sens House by calling 613-241-5434. A very limited number of seats will be made available tomorrow on a first-come, first-served basis for walk-ins prior to the festivities getting underway.

Ottawa holds the 18th overall selection in the first round of this year’s NHL Draft. Since the Senators first participated in the draft in 1992, 194 players have been selected by the team – 88 of whom have played at least one game for Ottawa.
