News Release: Ottawa Senators announce eight-game 2015-16 pre-season schedule

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators (@Senators) announced today their 2015-16 pre-season schedule, which includes three home games at Canadian Tire Centre, four road contests and one neutral-site meeting. The schedule also features a split-squad contest against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday, Sept. 21.

Ottawa fans will get their first chance to watch their team at home on Sept. 21 when Toronto visits the nation’s capital for a 7:30 p.m. game at Canadian Tire Centre. On the same evening, the Senators will also oppose the Maple Leafs at Air Canada Centre. The team will then play a home-and-home series with the Buffalo Sabres with a game in Buffalo on Sept. 23 before returning to Ottawa for a 7 p.m. contest on Saturday, Sept. 26.

The Senators will once again play a pre-season game in Newfoundland, and will take on the Carolina Hurricanes on Sunday, Sept. 27. For the third consecutive pre-season, the Senators will visit Winnipeg when the team meets the Jets at MTS Centre on Tuesday, Sept. 29. The pre-season schedule concludes with a home-and-home series against the Montreal Canadiens beginning on Thursday, Oct. 1, at the Bell Centre and concluding with a 7 p.m. game in Ottawa on Saturday, Oct. 3.

Monday, Sept. 21: Toronto at Ottawa, 7:30 p.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 23: Ottawa at Buffalo, 7 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 26: Buffalo at Ottawa, 7 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 27: Ottawa at Carolina (in St. John’s, N.L.), 3:30 p.m.

Tuesday, Sept. 29: Ottawa at Winnipeg, 8 p.m.

Thursday, Oct.1: Ottawa at Montreal, 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 3: Montreal at Ottawa, 7 p.m.
