OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators have partnered with award-winning group Elijah Woods x Jamie Fine to create a theme song for the 2019-20 NHL Season. The original song, written by Woods and Fine, will be performed LIVE for the first time at the team's home opener vs. the New York Rangers on Oct. 5 at Canadian Tire Centre.

Fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 6:50 p.m. to hear the inaugural performance of The Kids Are Alright, a song written for and inspired by the upcoming 2019-20 Senators season, ahead of a set during the first intermission by the Ottawa-formed duo.
"We were really inspired by this seasons tag line 'The Kids Are Alright', so we decided to create a song completely around it," said Woods and Fine. "It's our hope that this song will become somewhat of an anthem for the young team this season, as they grow into contenders for the Stanley Cup."
With more than 50 million collective streams to date and over 1M Shazam's worldwide, the JUNO-nominated group is best known for their CRIA 2x platinum-certified debut single Ain't Easy, as well as the CRIA gold-certified hit Better Off and Top 10 single You.
In addition to the performance by Elijah Woods x Jamie Fine on the Rideau Carlton Casino Stage, the Senators will host their annual red-carpet entry into Canadian Tire Centre on opening night. The red carpet will take place on the plaza in front of Gate 1 with the entire roster, coach staff and team management expected to enter the arena starting at 4:30 p.m. Fans are invited to attend the festivities, which will take place rain or shine.
