Karlsson, Lehner named to Team Sweden's camp

by Chris Lund / Ottawa Senators

As national programs continue to roll out their orientation camp rosters, to no one's surprise, the Sens have a pair of representatives on the Team Sweden list in Erik Karlsson and Robin Lehner who are well acquainted with the national program.

Karlsson has played for Sweden at the U16, U18, U20 and Senior levels, most recently at the World Championships in 2010 and 2012. In 17 career games at the Worlds, Karlsson has 11 points in 17 games. He has never played at an Olympic Games before.

Lehner, like Karlsson, has played for Sweden at multiple levels in competition at the U16, U17, U18 and U20 levels. He has yet to play in a game with the Senior national team for Sweden and this camp will mark his first participation with the big team.

Sweden's camp will be held August 12-14 in Stockholm.
