Senators forward Jean-Gabriel Pageau recorded a primary assist on the team's second of two goals in a 3-2 loss to the New York Islanders in addition to playing big time penalty kill minutes. His line with Shane Prince and Cole Schneider was a consistent threat for the Sens over the course of the game.
"Yeah (he and Shane Prince developed chemistry) and you can't forget Cole Schneider on the wing too. I thought we did a pretty good job tonight," said Pageau. "At the start we struggled but I think at the end we had pretty good chemistry. We were moving the puck and working hard and when you're doing that good things happen."
The Sens and Islanders renew acquaintances at 7:30 p.m. in Newfoundland.
