During this summer's development camp, Sens TV and Inside the Senate once again (triumphantly) joined forces and sat down with some of the Sens top prospects. Now, ahead of this year's training camp and pre-season, we're going to give you a chance to get to know them before they roll back into town.
Next in our series is Sens 2012 third round pick Chris Driedger of the WHL's Calgary Hitmen. Driedger — one of the Sens top goaltending prospects — is coming off his third major junior season wherein he recorded career highs in wins (36), goals-against average (2.51) and games played (54). After a solid season, he kicked his game into another gear in the WHL playoffs, recording an 11-6 record alongside a 2.39 GAA and .931(!) save percentage to get the Hitmen within a win of the WHL Final. Since then, he has participated in Hockey Canada's Program of Excellence goaltending camp with 17 other top goaltending prospects.
