8:30 AM: The Ottawa Senators complete their current 2-game road trip tonight against the New York Islanders. Puck drop is set for 7:00 p.m.

The Sens visit Long Island after earning rallying to beat the Canadiens in Montreal last night by a score of 5-2. Erik Karlsson (x2), Erik Condra, Mark Stone and Marc Methot scored five unanswered goals for the Senators while Andrew Hammond turned aside 27 of the 29 shots he faced to earn the victory. The Sens currently sit 10th in the Eastern Conference with a record of 31-24-11.

The Islanders are coming off a 2-1 loss to the New York Rangers on Tuesday night. Anders Lee scored the lone goal for the Isles while Jaroslav Halak made 20 saves in defeat. The Islanders' record currently sits at 43-22-4 which is good for 4th in the Eastern Conference.

These teams last faced-off in a home-and-home series that saw the Islanders take both games. Here are the full highlights from their most recent contest in Ottawa...

The Sens are scheduled for an off-ice workout today but I'll have plenty of updates to follow including, but not limited to, lineup changes, players' thoughts, Sens TV videos, Instagram goodness and more.
